The '''classics of Marxism''', also known as the '''heads of communism''' (along with other variations), are the figures [[Marxism|Marxists]] hold to be instrumental in the founding of their ideology. There is a large amount of divergence of who is considered a "classic," and some Marxists reject the idea as being representative of a [[cult of personality]]. However, [[Marxism–Leninism|Marxist–Leninists]] commonly cite [[Karl Marx]], [[Friedrich Engels]], and [[Vladimir Lenin]] as their founders, with others (particularly [[Anti-revisionism|anti-revisionists]]) often including [[Joseph Stalin]].

Images depicting the heads of Marxism are commonly used as a symbol by Marxist–Leninists and related groupings.
