Gender

Gender is a social concept involving categorizing people from their range of traits, expressions, and various aspects of biology. Gender is a concept as it originated in the mind or are derived immediately from the social norm. People often fall under two categories of gender being male and female. A common misconceptual theory involving gender is gender binary which described how people naturally fall under either male or female based on their genitals and chromosomes and how intersex people were born as a result of nature's mistake of not conforming to the theory.

Karl Marx and Fredrick Engels does document on the topic of gender and sex, usually in topic of women and communism. They wrote in The Communist Manifesto how bourgeois men see their wives as a mere instrument of production to be subject of exploitation and the community of women which they were against. Other socalists have their take on gender and sex. Alexandra Kollontai had written many texts on women and communism. She wrote how socialism, for a while, only affected the men of the working class and the women workers were vulnerable to abuse from the bourgeois class.
