Tumblr is a blogging and social networking service created by David Karp in February 2007. It allows users to post text, images, videos, and other forms of media and content. Karp created the service as a place for tumbleblogging, short-form blogging, that he has waited for one of the established blogging service to took on the form of blogging. It has gained a reputation for it's progressive userbase and fandom culture.[1]
