Council communism

Council communism, also known as councilism, is a libertarian Marxist tendency and variant of left communism which rejects the need for a vanguard party to lead the proletariat and instead emphasizes the role of spontaneity in revolutionary struggle, often manifesting in the formation of workers' councils.
