The Communist Party USA (CPUSA) is a reformist political party in the United States. Although one of the larger nominally "communist" formations, they have been extensively criticized as revisionist for their electoral endorsement of the Democratic Party and denial of core aspects of the dictatorship of the proletariat. They advocate a peaceful transition to socialism.[1]
