Eco-socialism

Eco-socialism, also known as green socialism or ecological socialism, is a left-wing ideology which combines advocacy for the environment and its protection with worker control of the means of production and other principles of socialism. Supporters of this tendency recognize the failures of capitalists attempts to protect nature.

Eco-socialists vary a large amount on their exact beliefs, with some promoting pacifism and the peaceful transformation of the capitalist system. Some are pro-state, others more libertarian.
