Eurocommunism is a reformist tendency adopted by various Western European political parties in the 1970s and 1980s in place of Marxism–Leninism. It opposed the Soviet Union and sought a peaceful road to socialism.

Criticism

Eurocommunism was strongly opposed by the Party of Labor of Albania and its supporters, with Enver Hoxha famously writing Eurocommunism is Anti-Communism in 1980.[1]
