Liberalism (Maoism)

In the context of Maoism, liberalism refers to a number of self-centered and individualistic acts and sentiments among communists which disrupts revolutionary struggle and party work. In Mao Zedong's 1937 work Combat Liberalism, liberalism includes (but is not limited to) 11 types of behavior ranging from "[letting] things slide for the sake of peace and friendship when a person has clearly gone wrong" to "[being] aware of one's own mistakes and yet make no attempt to correct them."
