The American Communist Party (ACP) is a far-right Patriotic Socialist political party in the United States and Canada. The party shares many views that can be considered fascist. Internationally, the party supports North Korea, Russia, China and Iran.[1]

The leadership of the ACP is said to employ abusive, cult-like tactics to manipulate the behavior of members and suppress criticism. These abuses are particularly present with the ACP's leader, Haz al-Din, who dominates the organization with little accountability. This is in tandem with the homophobic, misogynist, transphobic, and racist environment of the ACP.[2]

The organization claimed to have formed after members of the Communist Party USA split to join the ACP, with the names of 26 CPUSA clubs being featured on their opening declaration.[3] It was later shown that these signatures of support were fabricated.[4]
